Конференция 2007 года продолжает рассмотрение научной проблемы «Национальный театр в контексте многонациональной культуры». Театроведы, филологи, библиографы, сотрудники библиотек, музеев, архивов, а также книговеды, редакторы и издатели, журналисты, преподаватели и другие специалисты, занимающиеся проблемами национального театра и межнациональных театральных связей, приглашаются принять участие в Чтениях.
