Российская государственная библиотека по искусству приглашает принять участие в научной конференции Шестые Международные Михоэлсовские чтения, которые пройдут 24-25 ноября 2009 г. Конференция 2007 года продолжает рассмотрение научной проблемы «Национальный театр в контексте многонациональной культуры». Театроведы, филологи, библиографы, сотрудники библиотек, музеев, архивов, а также книговеды, редакторы и издатели, журналисты, преподаватели и другие специалисты, занимающиеся проблемами национального театра и межнациональных театральных связей, приглашаются принять участие в Чтениях.

“Call” for Candidates London, 1-6 July 2007 The Leonid Nevzlin Research Center for Russian and East European Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Simon Dubnow Institute for Jewish History and Culture at Leipzig University, the International Center for Russian and East European Jewish Studies in Moscow, and the Vilnius Center for the Study of the Culture and History of East European Jews will hold the third session of the International Forum of Young Scholars on East European Jewry, in London, England. This is an ongoing forum, comprised of 15-20 advanced Ph.D. students (ABD) and recent Ph.D.s (before tenure-track appointments). It meets periodically and is intended to allow these young scholars an opportunity for cross-fertilization in their fields with their own peers and with an esteemed group of senior scholars led by Profs. Jonathan Frankel (chairman), Dan Diner, Zvi Gitelman, Oleg Budnitskii, John Klier and Israel Bartal. We invite candidates in all branches of the humanities and the social sciences connected to the study of East European Jewry. The first session of the International Forum was held at the Dubnow Institute in Leipzig in July 2004. The second session was hosted by the Vilnius Center in July 2005. The Institute of Jewish Studies at University College London hosted the third session of the Forum from 1-6 July 2007. |
